PHILADELPHIA (November 14, 2006) On your next trip through Philadelphia International Airport, taste the flavor of a local legend called Johnnie’s Dog House™.

Johnnie’s Dog House™, located in the B/C Connector Food Court, opened to much anticipated excitement from passengers and airport employees, waiting patiently to try one of their famous dogs. At a Johnnie’s Dog House™, only the highest quality hot dog (served as an all beef, jumbo veggie or turkey style) is offered to the customers based upon a variety of different cities, cultures, and countries. The detail, research, and offering of each grilled hot dog is magnificent and delicious - It’s a must eat! And, it just doesn’t stop with delicious hot dogs. Customers can also choose a variety of sausages, fries, onion rings, sandwiches, and fresh soups. Of course, the meal is not complete without one of Johnnie’s must have which include milkshakes, fresh squeezed lemonade, real brewed iced tea, old fashion ice cream floats, and Philadelphia’s own Hank's sodas.

Johnnie’s Dog House™ has been recognized by Philadelphia in many more ways than one. The Philadelphia Daily News recently named them Top Philadelphia Hot Dog, March 30, 2006. Philadelphia Magazine awarded them Best of Philly 2004, their first year in operation; and WMMR’s morning show Preston & Steve and Good Day Philadelphia FOX29 News were on location, broadcasting live with Johnnie’s Dog House™ in 2005 and 2006.

Johnnie’s Dog House™ was originally founded in 2004 in Wayne, Pennsylvania, by Todd S. Chusid. A second location opened earlier this year on Main Street in Manayunk, Philadelphia. Johnnie’s Dog House™ is open in Philadelphia Marketplace, B/C Food Court, at the Airport from 5:15 a.m. – 10:30 p.m., seven days a week, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

According to Clarence Le Jeune, Vice President and General Manager of Marketplace Redwood Limited Partnership, “Johnnie’s Dog House isn’t just good food, it’s a great experience. The addition of Johnnie’s Dog House increases Philadelphia International Airport’s ability to not only meet, but exceed, traveler’s needs and expectations.”
